On June 5, 2019, officials from Port Everglades, CenterPoint Properties and Broward County broke ground on the Port's new 16.5- acre International Logistics Center, which will be the new home for FTZ No. 25.

Construction is underway on the Southport Turning Notch Extension, the $437.5 million berth expansion, the largest infrastructure project in the Port’s history, will allow for up to five new cargo berths by lengthening the existing Southport Turning Notch from 900 feet to 2,400 feet.
